Assistant General Manager
Become part of an exciting and dynamic team running a new multi-concept boutique studio in West London!
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant General Manager to help with all aspects of a West London studio's operational activities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a desire to develop their managerial experience, capable of optimising processes to ensure the smooth functioning of the site's facilities and services.
- Salary: £30,000 + OTE
- Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
- Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).
- Complimentary membership to have full access to all classes.

Reporting to:
• General Manager
The Role...
• Facility Management: help oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the spaces, ensuring they align with the brand's standards of relaxation and wellness.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: help the GM manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and guide the Front of House team, fostering a cohesive environment that promotes exceptional service delivery.
• New Hire Inductions: Conduct comprehensive company inductions for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to excel in their roles.
• Health and Safety Oversight: help implement and maintain health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance and a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Compliance and Safety: help ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a safe environment for customers and employees, and implement necessary protocols.
• Customer Experience: Work closely with customer service teams to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and resolve any operational issues promptly.
• Operational Strategy: help develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall performance.
The Person...
• Some prior experience in an operations or management position, preferably within the wellness, hospitality, or similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
• Proficiency in operational software and tools for analysis, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Exceptional service standards and customer focus.
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
• A confident and clear communicator.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well presented with good written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, self-sufficient, enthusiastic team player and contributor.
• Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
