Sales + Marketing Executive

We are recruiting a motivated Sales and Marketing Executive with a passion for fitness, wellbeing, and a love for numbers to join the team managing a portfolio of five brands within the fitness industry.
We are thrilled to announce this fantastic opportunity to join the UK's first Fitness and Wellness Supergroup. As a key member of the team, you will drive membership growth and enhance brand visibility in the local community. This is a data-driven role where you'll need to be comfortable analysing performance metrics and using insights to guide actions that will optimise results. You will be responsible for developing and executing local marketing campaigns, managing local partnerships, and activating sales opportunities through both in-studio and community events.
Your primary objective is to increase membership sign-ups, retain existing members, and contribute to the overall growth of the studios through sales, marketing activations, and data-driven strategies!
Key Details:
- Salary: £35-40,000
- Incentive/Commission: Yes – bonus opportunity
- Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
- Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays)

Reporting to:
- Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
The Role...
Sales and Membership Growth:
- Track and manage membership numbers at individual studios and brand levels, providing detailed feedback on positive and negative trends to guide marketing focus.
- Analyse lead conversion data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future sales approaches.
- Follow up on leads and maintain a pipeline of prospective members using CRM systems.
- Achieve and exceed monthly membership sales goals through data-informed strategies.
Community Engagement & Event Activations:
- Plan, help organise, and execute local events, promotions, and activations to attract new members (e.g., fitness classes, pop-up events, corporate wellness days, etc.).
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organisations, and influencers to drive awareness of the studios.
- Represent the studios at local events, trade shows, and festivals to enhance brand visibility and secure new memberships.
- Collaborate with corporate partners for joint marketing initiatives.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Develop and implement localised marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience and are informed by data insights.
- Monitor and analyse the success of campaigns and activations, using performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align local efforts with corporate branding and marketing strategies.
Customer Service and Member Retention:
- Maintain excellent relationships with current members by providing ongoing support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate special offers, loyalty programs, and retention initiatives informed by data insights to encourage continued membership.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including membership sales, event attendance, and lead conversion rates.
- Use data and insights to optimise outreach strategies, marketing campaigns, and sales tactics.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support continuous improvement across all areas of the role.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or community engagement (experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail industry is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into impactful actions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for health and fitness.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in planning and executing local events or activations.
- Familiarity with fitness industry trends and local community demographics.
- Basic graphic design or content creation skills.
