We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Studio Operations to oversee the seamless delivery of exceptional customer experiences across a network of high-end wellness studios in London. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence, managing studio standards, and maintaining a cohesive, customer-focused environment.
- Salary: £50-60,000 (experience dependent)
- Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
- Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).
- Complimentary membership to all classes.

The Role...
The Head of Studio Operations will lead the operational efforts to maintain the highest standards across all studios. This hands-on role requires strategic oversight, attention to detail, and the ability to manage teams and third-party vendors effectively. Key responsibilities include:
Operational Excellence
- Maintain and update a comprehensive operations manual, ensuring clear standards and practices are in place for all locations.
- Oversee the studio operations budget, balancing cost efficiency with necessary investments to support optimal performance.
- Manage health and safety compliance across all studios, ensuring certifications are up-to-date and accessible.
- Develop and oversee a proactive maintenance schedule, ensuring all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and fully operational.
- Streamline and standardise operational processes across locations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and addressing operational issues, such as equipment repairs, promptly.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, building managers, and third-party suppliers.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support the operations team to ensure clarity of responsibilities and alignment with company goals.
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs at all locations, assessing standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability and proactive communication within the team to ensure operational issues are addressed efficiently.
Cleaning and Maintenance Standards
- Oversee the performance of external cleaning providers, ensuring adherence to high cleanliness standards through regular monitoring and feedback.
- Manage deep-cleaning schedules and ensure quality outcomes, addressing performance gaps when necessary.
Customer Experience and Emergencies
- Act as a key stakeholder in resolving in-the-moment operational issues, ensuring timely and effective communication with studio teams and leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and guest experience teams on in-studio branding initiatives and campaign rollouts.
Special Projects
- Lead special projects, including renovations or major works, ensuring delivery within budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
The Person...
• Strong Leadership and people management skills.
• Proven experience no less than 1-2 years in operations management, within the wellness, hospitality, or similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
• Proficiency in operational software and tools for analysis, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Exceptional service standards and customer focus.
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
• A confident and clear communicator.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well presented with good written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated, self-sufficient, enthusiastic team player and contributor.
• Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
