Sales Manager

Are you a driven and results-focused sales leader with a passion for fitness? We’re seeking a Sales Manager to oversee the sales strategy for 2 gym locations, leading efforts to grow membership, forge corporate partnerships, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

● Salary: £35,000 + 10k OTE
● Incentive/Commission: Yes - great commission opportunity.
● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w
● Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).
As Sales Consultant you will be responsible for the retention of existing clients, and the onboarding of new, working closely with Management and the Coaches.

The Role...
Membership Sales & Growth
- Lead sales strategies across 2 locations, focusing on membership growth and corporate partnerships.
- Develop and execute marketing and lead-generation plans to drive membership sales.
- Maintain and grow the membership base, overseeing the entire sales process from inquiry to conversion.
- Monitor and optimise sales performance metrics, including conversion rates and retention goals.
- Drive and manage referral programs, outreach initiatives, and strategic partnerships with local businesses, community groups, and charitable organisations.
Client Relationship Management
- Provide a personalised, consultative sales approach to engage prospective members and retain existing ones.
- Conduct studio tours and consultations to assess prospective clients’ needs and recommend suitable packages.
- Ensure top-tier customer service at all touch points, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Corporate Sales Development
- Identify and build partnerships with corporate clients to expand membership opportunities.
- Represent the studios at local events, expos, and corporate networking functions to raise brand awareness.
Team Leadership & Studio Operations
- Lead, mentor, and motivate front desk and sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure adherence to all studio systems and processes, including member check-ins, payment handling, delinquent account management, and customer care.
- Maintain a consistent sales effort through goal-setting, incentive programs, and daily motivation.
- Help ensure the studios are impeccably maintained, clean, and organised.
Training & Brand Alignment
- Coach several training sessions per week to stay connected to the client experience.
- Collaborate with the studio owner and coaching team to deliver a seamless and branded customer experience.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Regularly report on sales performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimise growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in sales or fitness management.
- PT Level 2 or 3
- Minimum of 1+ years of proven sales experience in the health and fitness industry.
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office programs, and media platforms.
