Operations Manager – Premium Fitness & Wellness Studio (Multi-Site Expansion)
We’re working with a high-end fitness and wellness brand that is growing fast—expanding from two to three beautifully designed, service-led studios in North and East London. Known for their premium offering, and strong community, this is a business on the rise, and they’re now seeking a confident, proactive Operations Manager to help lead the next phase of their journey.
This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role that blends strategic operations oversight with people management, process improvement, and front-end sales support. You’ll be at the heart of day-to-day excellence while working closely with the Founder and senior management to ensure the smooth, successful running of a standout wellness experience.
● Salary: £40,000 base + OTE
●Amazing working perks including full access to the gym and all its facilities
● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
● Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).
The Role...
Studio Operations & Strategy
- Own and optimise the daily operations across the studio, ensuring systems, service, and staff run smoothly
- Work closely with leadership to implement and improve operational workflows as the brand expands to new sites
- Ensure a premium, seamless client experience at all touchpoints—from entry to class to treatment
- Oversee health & safety, cleanliness, compliance and facilities management to the highest standard
- Manage supplier relationships and procurement to ensure efficiency and cost control
Team Management
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of new team members
- Lead the Front of House team, promoting high performance, engagement, and accountability
- Create and maintain a positive, professional working culture aligned with brand values
Sales & Commercial Support
- Actively support membership and treatment sales through studio tours, enquiries, and consultative conversations
- Train and support the team on soft selling and upselling techniques
- Track sales metrics and support management with weekly performance reporting
- Assist with local community outreach and partnerships to help drive brand awareness and lead generation
Customer Experience
- Be a hands-on presence in the studio, building relationships with members and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensure the studio environment is always welcoming, supportive, and aligned with the brand’s wellness ethos
- Collaborate with the wider team to support in-studio events and activations that engage the member community
The Person...
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years in an operational management role, ideally within fitness, wellness, or premium hospitality
- Strong leadership qualities and experience managing front-of-house or customer-facing teams
- Commercially minded with some sales capability and confidence in client-facing interactions
- Highly organised with an ability to juggle priorities across multiple functions
- A self-starter with a calm, confident presence and solutions-focused attitude
- Passionate about wellness, client service, and delivering meaningful customer experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable using systems to track operations and support sales performance

- Relationship Builder: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

- Self-Motivated: Proactive and highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and work independently when needed.
- Problem Solver: Solutions-oriented, able to think creatively when faced with challenges or obstacles.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, willing to adapt sales strategies based on business needs and market conditions.
