Studio Manager
Seeking a motivated Studio Manager to oversee the success of a thriving and fast growing Reformer Pilates brand!

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a thriving FS8 site, overseeing daily studio operations and ensuring exceptional service for our members. You will be responsible for driving membership growth, leading a motivated team, and maintaining a world-class studio environment.
The Role...
● Salary: £32,000 + Bonus / Commission
● Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)
● Leave:
- 28 days per year (including bank holidays).
- Extra one day leave on your birthday.
● Experience teaching Reformer required
This opportunity will see you responsible for the the day to day autonomous running of the facilities, inspiring and managing a the team to drive performance, whilst developing a community, provide excellent levels of customer service, and consistently going above and beyond to deliver.
You will be at the forefront of the business' growth and will take the lead on all membership sales and managing the team - from lead to membership conversion. You will be responsible for maintaining the standard of excellence in the studio and from all employees, as well as onboarding and hiring new team members. This role also leads the day-to-day management of the studio and member care, as well as leading the coaching team.
Responsibilities:
- Studio Growth & Sales:
- Lead the membership sales process, from converting leads to trialists and trialists to full-time members.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring a healthy and sustainable membership base.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager on promotions, membership deals, and sales strategies to drive revenue.
- Track and report weekly sales performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Community Engagement:
- Represent the studio within the local community through events, social media outreach, and partnerships with like-minded businesses.
- Plan and execute promotional activities such as community-building events, challenges, and corporate partnerships to increase brand awareness.
- Curate engaging content for social media platforms, focusing on member achievements, studio news, and upcoming events.
- Ensure timely communication with members through emails, WhatsApp groups, and studio announcements.
- Team Leadership & Studio Culture:
- Lead and inspire your team of coaches and front-of-house staff, ensuring top-level performance and member satisfaction.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with coaches, run monthly team meetings, and provide support and feedback to maintain high standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive team culture by recognising achievements, organising team events, and encouraging continuous development.
- Studio Operations & Management:
- Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members and staff.
- Maintain and manage studio inventory, ensuring equipment is in working order and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Ensure the studio complies with health and safety regulations, including up-to-date CPR/AED certifications and regular staff training.
- Marketing & Social Media:
- Lead local marketing initiatives to increase visibility, grow the member base, and promote the studio.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, email newsletters, and social media posts, including Instagram stories and Facebook updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns aimed at member acquisition and retention.
- Financial & Performance Management:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including membership growth, revenue, and sales conversions, making data-driven decisions for improvement.
- Manage the budget for operational expenses, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive results.
The Person:
- Some experience in a management role within the fitness or wellness industry, with a track record of achieving business objectives and helping drive growth.
- Reformer Qualification
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving common goals.
- Excellent business acumen, financial management skills, and the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of fitness industry trends, member needs, and customer service best practices.
- Demonstrated marketing and sales expertise to drive membership acquisition and retention strategies.
- Proficiency in using software systems for managing member databases, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- First Aid certification and knowledge of health and safety standards within a fitness facility.
