Studio Manager
Incredible opportunity for an experienced coach to step into a leadership role at a premium group fitness facilities in South East London!
We’re looking for a Studio Manager to join the team at a premium training facility in Southwark. This is a hybrid leadership role - you’ll coach around 10 hours per week at a high level and lead by example of the team of trainers while also overseeing the general day-to-day operation and performance of the site.
You’ll support and work closely with the Founder to deliver exceptional member experiences, maintain facility standards, and drive growth across sales, engagement, and retention. The Basics:
● Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base + OTE
● Working Hours: 40 hours across the week to include some early mornings, lates and weekends. 8-10 hours coaching per week.

Key Responsibilities:
Coaching and Member Experience:
- Deliver dynamic, results-driven group training sessions across all concepts and formats: strength, conditioning, Hyrox etc.
- Support the onboarding of new joiners and long-term members with guidance across training, recovery, and nutrition.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inspiring training environment.
Team Leadership and Coaching Culture:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Group Exercise by supporting their growth and holding high standards.
- Cultivate a team culture based on accountability, passion, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model - lead by example through your own coaching delivery and personal conduct.
- Contribute to internal education, performance feedback, and team development initiatives.
Site Operations and Business Performance:
- Take ownership of day-to-day site operations ensuring all equipment and amenities are well-maintained and functional.
- Drive key business metrics, including sales performance, member acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
- Collaborate on local marketing and community engagement to build visibility and increase footfall.
- Provide feedback and insights on site performance to central leadership.
The Person:
- Loves coaching! You'll bring energy to every session and care deeply about client outcomes.
- Has strong leadership and mentoring skills: you will naturally lift others up and lead by example.
- Is keen to develop management skills: you have some experience when it comes to operations and sales, but most importantly you want to level up and take ownership of an entire site.
- Thrives in a team environment: you believe that coaching is a team sport, not a solo pursuit.
- Is highly accountable and proactive: you take ownership of your work and the space around you.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you know how to build trust and keep people engaged.
- Is passionate about continuous learning and professional development both for yourself and others.
- Holds a Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent).
- Bonus if you have experience in marketing!
