As a therapist at The Method, you will deliver a range of exceptional, high-quality bodywork treatments to clients in a luxurious, holistic wellness environment. Working closely with the Recovery and Operations teams, therapists will embody the brand's commitment to excellence, offering restorative and therapeutic experiences that integrate physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Location: Westbourne Grove, London
Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week, including weekends
Rate: From £30 per treatment (dependent on experience)
Some Front-of-house duties
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Client Success Manager, the Massage Therapist will deliver exceptional client care and support the daily flow of studio operations, ensuring every guest receives a five-star experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Massage & Therapy Delivery
• Provide exceptional client experiences through a range of specialist massage and stretch therapies.
• Tailor treatments to individual client needs, focusing on recovery, relaxation, and body alignment.
• Maintain comprehensive client notes and treatment records in line with confidentiality standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety, hygiene, and safeguarding procedures.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to a five-star spa standard before and after each appointment.
• Recommend aftercare advice, follow-up sessions, and wellness practices to support client goals.
Support in-house promotions and client retention initiatives (e.g. package renewals, seasonal
offers).
Front-of-House Support
When not in treatment, therapists will assist with FOH operations including:
• Greeting and checking in clients with warmth and professionalism.
• Managing booking systems and ensuring the day’s schedule runs smoothly.
• Assisting with product or package sales and processing payments.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
• Supporting other team members in creating a calm, organised, and elevated environment.
Professional & Operational Standards
• Represent The Method brand values of excellence, integrity, and wellbeing at all times.
• Ensure treatment equipment and products are well-stocked and maintained.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and brand immersion sessions.
• Uphold GDPR and client confidentiality at all times.
• Support launch and member events where required
The Person
Essential
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in massage or bodywork.
• Recognised UK Level 3 Massage qualification in one or more of the following: Massage Therapy, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Massage, or similar.
• Valid professional liability insurance.
• Experience in luxury spa, boutique wellness or hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and holistic wellness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a nurturing, professional manner.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to manage own schedule within the team framework.
• Over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable
• Ability to offer multiple therapy styles or open to specialise in niche treatments (e.g., lymphatic drainage or assisted stretch).
• Experience with CRM or booking software systems.
• Interest in holistic health, movement, and modern wellness trends.

Compensation
• Treatment rate: From £30.00 per treatment (dependent on experience).
• Front-of-house duties: Paid at the London Living Wage.
